The event is divided into four main themes related to Municipal Solid Waste Management and its impact

in climate and plastic crisis, highlighting the importance of implementing sustainable waste management

systems to ensure a fair transition for the informal sector and enforce efficiency, financial mechanisms

opportunities and current private and public investment, specially from the Global South.
