Our speakers will share insights on what to expect from the three Rio Convention Summits this year - UNCBD COP16, UNFCCC COP29, and UNCCD COP16 - and look ahead to COP30. We will hear from actors across food systems on how we can accelerate multi-stakeholder action to transform food systems to deliver for people, nature, and climate, demonstrating progress of the Food Systems Call to Action launched at COP28.
This event is part of Food Day, co-hosted by Tilt Collective, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and Bezos Earth Fund.
Purpose
Continue to raise momentum and accelerate action on food systems from COP28 ahead of the 3 Rio Convention Summits this year, and setting the scene for COP30
Create an inclusive space and platform for multi-stakeholder dialogues across food systems actors to highlight key opportunities and challenges of accelerating non-state actor action
Demonstrate progress on delivering the Food Systems Call to Action for Transforming Food Systems for People, Nature, and Climate, test messaging, and amplify NSA leadership success stories
